About Wofford Advisors' Dealmakers Conference
The Transportation & Logistics Dealmakers Conference, hosted by Wofford Advisors, convenes a select group of 30–40 senior executives actively pursuing or considering M&A opportunities in the sector. Over three days on Nantucket Island, participants will gain practical insights through sessions led by senior advisors from firms including Nixon Peabody, Aon, Grant Thornton, King & Spalding, Veracity, Joele Frank and Beckway, as well as candid “war story” panels featuring seasoned executives.
Constance Hunter, Chief Economist at the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) — the economic and geopolitical research business of The Economist Group — will be our keynote speaker, kicking off the conference on Thursday, September 24. Constance, a macroeconomist known for advising firms on the economy and geopolitics, previously served as EVP and Head of Strategy and ESG at AIG and as Chief Economist at KPMG.

Dinner at Proprietors Restaurant
We are excited to host our final dinner at one of the island's lesser-know culinary and historical gems. Named after Nantucket's original land owners, Proprietors celebrates the Island's history and unique role as the global whaling hub in the mid 18th and 19th centuries. Combining international flavors and local seasonal fare, the restaurant showcases Nantucket's former global reach yet homey feel of the island.
Transportation: Two buses will pick up from the White Elephant Hotel (50 Easton St, Nantucket, MA 02554) at 6:45pm and drop off at Proprietors Restaurant. Spouses are encouraged to join as the location of the Spouse Dinner (Black Eyed Susans) is next to Proprietors. The buses will return to the White Elephant Hotel from Proprietors at 9:15pm.
